Mental Health Ministry Facilitator Training- 6-Part Series
SPRING REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!
The Office for Family Life Ministry is offering spring training sessions for parish leaders on Monday evenings via Zoom from 7:30pm-9pm starting on May 5th and ending on June 16th (please note - there is no session on Memorial Day, May 26th). This training is for those interested in becoming mental health facilitators at their parish to spiritually accompany individuals living with mental health challenges. To register, please complete the information below.
Here are some important details:
- The sessions will include content from Sanctuary for Catholics and various speakers from the Archdiocese of Newark.
- The cost per participant is $45, which includes all materials.
- Payment by check is accepted, but registration is not complete until payment is received.
- Parishes registering multiple facilitators may send one combined check.
- Participants must have written approval from their pastor and be up to date with Safe Environment Protocols and background checks.
- Parishes looking to offer this ministry after completion of the training will schedule follow-up meetings with the Family Life Office.
